In this step we will plug in the bottom sensors.

You will use the longer connecting cables for all three of the bottom sensors. These cables are approx 6" / 150mm long. One cable should already be connected to the rear bottom sensor. We will add two more to the two front bottom sensors.

Plug in the rear bottom sensor, then tuck the excess cable length back up under the Raspberry Pi as shown.

The two front sensors are plugged into the connectors circled above. They are marked for Left and Right sensors.

Feed the cable for the Left bottom sensor through the opening behind the Pan servo. It is suggested to feed this cable between the Pan servo and the plastic spacer that joins the upper and lower frame plates. This will help keep it back out of the way if you ever need to access the MicroSD card of the Raspberry Pi.

Connect up the cable to the Right bottom sensor and curl the excess back up under the Raspberry Pi.

Take note of where these cables curl around the edge of the Spirit Main Board. It will be important to have them in this general area in the next steps so they fit into the cutout on the wings.

Plug the sensors into the Main Board.
